Do yourself a favour… run out and buy the premier issue of Industrie Magazine. You’ll be able to spot it immediately. On the cover is no other than Vogue’s editor-in-chief Anna Wintour.
Unlike other publications, the magazine is “the first and only media title dedicated to presenting an independent, in-depth look at the fashion industry, going behind the scenes to chronicle the personalities, stories and defining moments in the world of fashion.”
It provides some intriguing insights into how some of the industry’s top talents reached the pinnacle of their respective trade. For example there’s interviews with “super stylists” Marie-Amelie Sauvem who worked with Carine Roitfeld at French Vogue; Panos Yiapanis who’s consulted with the likes of Cavalli and Givenchy; Karl Templer who has worked as the creative director at Italian Vogue and Katie Grand who is the co-founder of publications such as Dazed & Confused.
The magazine is a brilliant read.
Industrie was founded by Erik Torstensson and Jens Gede, both of whom also act as editor-in-chiefs of the publication.

Oh my! The fashion world has gone crazy for granny grey.
Pint-sized blogger Tavi and style icon Daphne Guinness have been sporting their grey-do for quite some time. Now the grey trend has spread like wild fire. For Spring 2010, the look has hit the runways of designers like Proenza Schouler and Gareth Pugh. Nineties super model Kristen McMenamy sported the grey hair look for the recent Givenchy show.
Who would have thunk.
