One of my all time favourite football player Zinedine Zidane will be fronting a new ad campaign with iconic Japanese designer Yohji Yamamoto.
According to WWD, the football icon will be collaborating with Yamamoto in lead-up to this summer’s World Cup in South Africa. The ad campaign is for Adidas’ Y-3 line. Y-3 is the exclusive collaborative project between Adidas and Yamamoto.
The ad will make its debut in V and V Man starting in March.
Here’s a look at the finale of the Y-3 Spring 2010 show. It features Zizou and Yohji Yamamoto kicking footballs into a net set right in front of the photography pit.

Never been a fan of UGGs or their many knock-offs, but here’s news of an unlikely coupling in the fashion world.
On the heals of recent rumours of the Halston-SJP colloboration, Jimmy Choo is apparently going to create a range for UGG. Apparently other than Jimmy Choo, UGG is the only other footwear the president of Jimmy Choo, Tamara Mellon has in her wardrobe. In a statement the two companies explains “we are delighted to have created a special capsule that captures the best of both brands - the legendary comfort of UGG with the spirit of Jimmy Choo.”
Prices for the line will range between $595.00 - $795.00 US.
